As a **Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol** in **Hagerstown, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and engage with tenants and visitors by providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter potential issues and provide peace of mind for occupants and visitors.

+ Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner as related to daily activities and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of experience in a security-related role is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
