As a **Security Officer - Access Control Driver** in **El Dorado, KS** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities include routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering exceptional customer service while monitoring entry points and verifying credentials. This role requires driving as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry onto the property.

+ Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to support compliance with established protocols.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and guidance.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.

+ Document and report any access control incidents or unusual observations according to Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and observe for potential hazards.

+ Collaborate with site personnel to address access-related issues and support emergency response activities as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report maintenance or operational concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
