Our client, a leader in healthcare technology and prosthetic solutions, is seeking a Prosthetic Technician I to join their team. As a Prosthetic Technician I, you will be part of the manufacturing and clinical support team supporting the development and fabrication of advanced prosthetic devices. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Prosthetic Technician I
**Location:** Orlando, Florida
**Pay:** $17-18 / hour
**Shift:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What's the Job?
+ Fabricate prosthetic devices in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards.
+ Perform tasks including pouring negatives, plaster modifications, plastic pulling, silicone rolling, and trimline finishing.
+ Operate machinery and power tools with precision and safety.
+ Educate customers during onsite clinical academy training.
+ Troubleshoot i-limb devices as needed and test prostheses for movement, valve sealing, part alignment, and biomechanical stability.
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 1–3 years of experience as an Orthotics and/or Prosthetics Technician or equivalent.
+ Self-motivated, dependable, and a strong communicator.
+ Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring visual focus and manual dexterity.
