As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding swiftly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Assist in controlling access to the location and verify credentials of individuals entering designated areas.

+ Support emergency preparedness drills and respond appropriately to alarms or emergencies as required by site protocols.

+ Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

+ Interact with students, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner, providing assistance or information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.

+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
