As a **Security Officer - Residential Front Desk** in **Rochester, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a welcoming presence while supporting security-related protocols. Your role involves assisting with visitor management, monitoring access points, and helping to deter incidents through strong communication and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Greet residents, guests, and/or visitors in a professional and courteous manner while monitoring access to the building.

+ Monitor the front desk area and entryways to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.

+ Follow site-specific procedures and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the location's policies.

+ Respond to incidents and/or critical situations at the front desk in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to visitor entries, incidents, and/or security-related activities.

+ Provide customer service while handling inquiries and assisting residents, guests, and/or visitors as needed.

+ Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
