As a **Security Officer - Tech Site - Weekdays** in **Hillsboro, OR** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic technology-driven location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for all employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks within the facility.

+ Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to provide guidance and support as needed.

+ Maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

+ Assist with access control and/or visitor management as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
