As a **Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol Driver** in **Independence, MO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and interacting with personnel to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entry points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, or disruptive behavior.

+ Communicate and report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or hazards discovered during patrols to appropriate personnel and/or management.

+ Maintain detailed records of all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.

+ Operate security-related equipment and systems as directed, following all site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

+ An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
