    Position Responsibilities:

    Lead a team of engineers solving problems for Finance customers. Serve as the team's leader and principal strategist. Be an expert in the architecture of data warehousing solutions for the Enterprise using multiple platforms. Excel in managing a large data focused team, setting strategic direction, and managing multiple stakeholders. Work with business analysts and engineers to determine how the team can best build data-based solutions. Responsible for leading and managing multiple data engineering teams. Own the team’s goals and outcomes, mentor other managers, and help your team craft their career plans.

    Position Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have four years of experience in the following skills: 1) managing a team of engineers and engineering managers in a data or Business Intelligence team; 2) developing and delivering a data strategy that spans multiple teams; 3) processing data with a massively parallel technology such as Redshift, Teradata, Netezza, Spark, or Hadoop based big data solution; 4) using relational database technology such as Redshift, Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL; 5) developing and operating largescale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes; 6) communicating with senior management and customers verbally and in writing; and 7) using at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.
