Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with 5-7 years of MEP experience. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and will be responsible for designing various mechanical building components. This role involves extensive collaboration with architects, engineering consultants, building code officials, and other stakeholders, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit for design work.

Responsibilities

+ Design all aspects of assigned projects, including mechanical building components such as ductwork, HVAC systems, and chillers.

+ Collaborate with architects, outside engineering consultants, building code officials, manufacturers, contractors, vendors, developers, and clients.

+ Attend client meetings to discuss project details and ensure alignment.

+ Conduct occasional site visits within the DMV area and approximately one site visit per quarter outside the DMV.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

+ 5-7 years of MEP experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Progress towards obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in mechanical design projects.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment

The position is based in a newly renovated office in Glen Burnie. Employees enjoy a flexible schedule with in-office work, weekly lunch and learns, and bi-weekly Donut/Bagel Fridays. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Burnie, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
