Actalent is hiring for a Research Associate in the Oro Valley area!
Job Description
As a Research Associate I, you will be responsible for conducting research, development, and laboratory experimentation to support ongoing projects. You will utilize your technical expertise to design, execute, and interpret experiments, contributing significantly to project strategies. You will prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses, and present findings within the department and project team. Maintaining high professional expertise through scientific literature and possibly participating in conferences and professional societies is encouraged. You will adhere to company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, and Design Control, ensuring complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.
Responsibilities
+ Execute laboratory experiments, making detailed observations and analyzing data.
+ Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
+ Maintain complete and accurate records.
+ Receive detailed directions on work tasks and make suggestions for process improvements.
+ Assist in developing patentable inventions.
+ Work on projects of moderate scope, requiring analysis of identifiable factors.
+ Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
+ Participate in cross-functional technical team activities.
+ Present and discuss data within the group.
+ Monitor work to ensure quality, promoting Quality First Time.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
+ Basic and some specialized laboratory techniques.
+ Familiarity with scientific literature searches.
+ Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software applications.
+ Entry-level experience preferred, less than 1 year.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a Scientific Field

The position is located onsite in Oro Valley, AZ, just north of Tucson, surrounded by the Santa Catalina Mountains and Sonoran Desert. This is a Contract position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
