    Now Hiring: QC Microbiologist (2 Openings)

    Schedule Options:

    + Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

    + Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

     

    We’re looking for two experienced QC Microbiologists to join a dynamic team supporting product and material release through microbiological testing and environmental monitoring. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong aseptic technique and GMP knowledge who thrive in a regulated lab environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform microbiological test methods and environmental monitoring with accuracy and consistency.

    + Maintain compliance with GMP standards in lab records, procedures, and systems.

    + Support investigations by gathering and trending data.

    + Write or revise procedures under guidance.

    + Manage time effectively to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

    + Participate in weekend and holiday work as needed.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 3–5 years of hands-on QC Micro experience, including lab testing and EM.

    + Strong aseptic technique and experience working in biosafety hoods.

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing schedules.

    + Comfortable standing for long periods and moving between buildings.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Familiarity with LIMS (especially data entry) is preferred.

    + Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays (pre-scheduled).

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related life science.

    + Experience with GMP documentation and clean-room gowning.

    + Knowledge of regulatory standards (USP, EP, JP, ICH, cGMP).

    + Prior clean-room experience is a plus.

    This is a Contract position based out of Worcester, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.86 - $34.50/hr.
