**Job Title:** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – OBGYN

**Location:** Tampa, FL 33607

**Job Type:** Full-Time | Direct Hire

Overview:

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our OBGYN office located in Tampa, FL (33607). This is a fully onsite position, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and professional clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Greet and prepare patients for exams and treatments

+ Collect vitals, perform clinical intake, and document accurately in real-time

+ Assist providers during exams and minor OBGYN procedures

+ Administer medications as ordered by the provider (if certified)

+ Perform administrative duties including insurance verification, copay collection, and scheduling

+ Ensure patient safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, AHMG policies)

+ Support the mission and values of the organization in every interaction

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

+ Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following: AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA

+ Current CPR certification

+ Strong communication, multitasking, and EMR documentation skills

+ Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting

+ **OBGYN experience preferred**

**Pay Details:** $17.11 to $27.37 per hour
