The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of project-oriented work efforts. You will be responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, financials, and schedules, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within the agreed-upon time, scope, and resource requirements. The position involves coordinating project requirements, performing feasibility and needs assessments, and managing communication and change management processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Provide oversight and direction to team members under the general direction of a project manager.
+ Facilitate communication between Project Manager, service providers, and internal customers, including technical support.
+ Review and provide support and coordination on project-related documentation, technical memoranda, design plans, specifications, and other materials.
+ Field customer concerns and work with appropriate parties for resolution.
+ Facilitate technical assistance to internal and external customers in support of PMs or Senior PMs.
+ Apply basic project management concepts and practices.
+ Track project milestones and deliverables and report on project and program progress.
+ Support emergency response work as requested.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting.
+ Experience with utility systems, including overhead/underground, gas, electric, and water/sewer.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Basic knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling concepts.
+ Ability to make independent decisions, influence others, and resolve issues.
+ Customer-oriented with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two-year Associate’s Degree or better in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ At least two years of relevant work experience.
+ Knowledge of utility methods, techniques, and procedures involved in budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
+ AutoCAD drafting experience.
+ Project scheduling and coordinating experience.
Work Environment
This position supports work under the pole services group, primarily focusing on street lighting and LED conversions, with exposure to additional projects. Opportunities for career advancement and development will be provided. The role is 100% remote, except for approximately 60% fieldwork. Candidates must be local to Seattle and will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. You will be required to drive your own vehicle, with mileage expenses reimbursed.

This is a Contract position based out of Kent, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
