    Join our dynamic team as a Technical Product Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Toyota Data Services Platform. This platform enables vehicles to connect to the cloud, offering a plethora of data products to both internal and external clients. We seek an innovative individual to ensure the secure, quality, and cost-effective operation of this advanced platform.

    Responsibilities

    + Translate business requirements and technical specification documents into actionable epics and user stories for clear delivery by the team.

    + Prioritize and manage the product backlog and roadmap to meet customer requirements efficiently.

    + Lead design discussions with development teams to address complex requirements.

    + Collaborate with technical delivery leads on release planning and provide status reports to stakeholders.

    + Ensure the Product Backlog is transparent and guides the Scrum team's workflow effectively.

    + Engage with agile teams daily to clarify project details and participate actively in Scrum events and planning activities.

    + Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business, quality, and functional goals with each product release.

    + Identify, mitigate, and communicate risks or opportunities that could impact project success, escalating issues when necessary.

    + Maintain updated and accessible internal documentation for technical teams.

    + Monitor team performance and provide feedback for process improvements to the product management lead.

    + Independently solve complex operational and technical challenges.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Product Manager, or Technical Project Manager.

    + Proficiency in AWS for cloud platforms such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and Kinesis.

    + 2+ years of experience in a SaaS environment with knowledge of databases, cloud computing, software development, and security.

    + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask.

    + Experience with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and diagramming software like Lucid Chart or Visio.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    + Ability to analyze product data using data analysis concepts.

    + Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvements to maximize efficiencies.

    + Comfortable working within a cross-functional team.

    + Demonstrated success in learning new technologies or overcoming challenges.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Interest in Japanese language and/or culture.

    + Previous development or DevOps experience.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
