    Adecco Staffing is proud to partner with one of Virginia’s most respected personal injury law firms, to hire a **Pre-Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant** for their vibrant Petersburg office.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage and maintain client case files with precision, care, and confidentiality.

    + Conduct intake interviews with new clients, ensuring they feel supported and heard.

    + Handle and organize documentation for **personal injury** cases from intake through pre-litigation.

    + Process and manage liens, including those associated with **ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation** .

    + Work efficiently on **high-volume, complex case files** while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

    + Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other team members to ensure effective case management.

    + Perform other administrative or case-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum **1 year of experience** as a **Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal or Legal Assistant** .

    + Experience conducting **client intake interviews** required.

    + Strong understanding of **liens** (ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation).

    + Experience handling **high-volume caseloads** and working within a **case management system** .

    + **Bilingual (Spanish/English)** preferred but not required.

    + Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal database software.

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    + Office-based position; must be able to sit for extended periods.

    + Frequent computer use and ability to maintain focus for long durations.

    + Regular interaction with clients and staff in an office environment.

    + Manual dexterity for handling phones, keyboards, and office equipment.
