**Pay Range:** $34.61 - $51.57 per hour

Summary:
The Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Analyst works alongside the CMDB Administrator to complete the tasks necessary to establish and maintain the overall health and accuracy of CMDB records, data, process, and design. Tasks include the remediation of duplicate or inaccurate records and reviewing CMDB records and data to uncover inconsistencies. The Analyst may provide input into procedural documents and assist with the implementation of new or changing tools.

Required Job Qualifications:
• At least three years of related experience in the maintenance of a CMDB in a complex environment.
• CMDB experience in ServiceNow.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel and/or databases. Skills include activities such as comparing or consolidating data, using VLOOKUP and other basic or intermediate formulas, etc.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Though the tools are not yet in place, experience with ServiceNow’s ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping is helpful.
• Knowledge of Asset Management in addition to Configuration Management
Competencies:
Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and technologies.
Knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
This position requires working with great attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability, as well as an analytical approach to implementing solutions.

Responsibilities:
• With guidance from the CMDB Administrator, perform maintenance on CMDB records according to established processes.
• Engage in the day-to-day operational upkeep of records across the CMDB (ServiceNow)
• Gather information from service owners as needed to confirm accuracy and completeness of records.
• Perform regular assessments of data and records to ensure policy and process adherence.
• Engage in regular CMDB audits
• Respond to assignments resulting from audits
• Fulfill service requests as assigned
• Engage in planning meetings related to CMDB development, growth, and design
• Engage in the change management process as it relates to the CMDB
• Conduct research and maintain emerging knowledge to support best practices
This is a remote position with occasional on-site options.
