    Description

    We are seeking a seasoned Legacy .NET Developer with strong experience in the oil and gas sector to help modernize and maintain mission-critical applications. This role bridges legacy systems with modern .NET Core technologies, including Blazor Web Assembly, Entity Framework Core, and Telerik UI for Blazor.

     

    You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, improve user experience, and ensure seamless integration with SQL Server databases.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain and enhance legacy .NET applications (Web Forms, WinForms, WCF).

    + Migrate legacy systems to ASP.NET Core and Blazor WebAssembly.

    + Design and implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.

    + Develop rich UI components using Telerik Controls for .NET Core and Blazor.

    + Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders in the oil & gas domain to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

    + Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

    + Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience in .NET Framework (C#) development.

    + Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and WebAssembly.

    + Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.

    + Experience with Telerik UI components for .NET Core and Blazor.

    + Proven background in the oil and gas industry, with understanding of upstream/downstream operations or field data systems.

    + Familiarity with legacy technologies (Web Forms, WinForms, WCF).

    + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

    + Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

    + Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

    + Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI)
