Job Title: 2nd shift Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. The role primarily involves assembling sub-components and finished products, as well as executing material processing within our facility. You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring basic levels of product and process knowledge.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.
+ Operate hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes to build units
+ Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.
+ Lift and fit metal products weighing 60lbs+.
+ Collaborate with a team member to fulfill daily product orders.
+ Engage in physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, and extending arms for extended periods.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
+ Experience operating overhead cranes.
+ Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED is required upon permanent conversion (Company offers a GED program).
+ Ability to lift 50lbs+ independently.
+ Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
+ Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus.

Work Environment
Our facility boasts a clean, organized, and spacious manufacturing floor where all sections are clearly labeled based on materials and production. The role offers flexible shift patterns: First Shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Second Shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
