Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a TIG Welder, where you will apply your skills in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. This position requires expertise in TIG welding, primarily on stainless steel, with some MIG welding on aluminum. Operating on a 1st shift schedule, this role offers a work-life balance with hours from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. Flexibility to work full days or Saturdays when needed is a must.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG welding primarily on stainless steel and MIG welding on aluminum.
+ Assemble hand railings for commercial and residential properties.
+ Pass an onsite simple weld test, demonstrating horizontal and vertical welding skills.
+ Utilize existing TIG experience to contribute effectively with minimal training.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Stand and work on feet throughout the entire shift.
+ Work with 16-18” gauge materials.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in TIG welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with schematic reading.
+ Proficiency in working with stainless steel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
