Job Title: GSE Mechanic
Job Description
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on ground support equipment (GSE), including Tug vehicles, baggage carts, and dollies. Diagnose engine and mechanical issues, and troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics using schematics. Work with both diesel and gas engines, as well as electric motors. Collaborate within a small team of seven people and be open to working outside.

+ Troubleshoot and repair A/C and D/C electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics using schematics.
+ Work with diesel and gas engines, and electric motors.
+ Collaborate with a team of seven and work outside as needed.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of automotive or diesel experience.
+ Ability to work holidays and/or weekends when necessary.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Possession of a personal set of tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous GSE maintenance experience is advantageous.

Work Environment
The position is based in a small shop at the General Mitchell International Airport (MKE), with a maintenance hangar similar to an automotive service center. The role involves working on equipment both inside and outside. The working hours are 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
