Assembly Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate - $28/hr. (2nd and 3rd shift)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on automated plastics assembly equipment. This role involves both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the candidate expected to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues independently.

+ Run cost reports to ensure equipment repairs remain within budget.

+ Work on a 3rd shift position, with training on any shift during the initial months.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

+ Reliability and ability to take initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ A mechanical degree is a plus.

+ Experience in troubleshooting PLCs is an advantage.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems and blueprint reading.

+ Welding and experience with industrial maintenance and repair.

Work Environment

This role operates within a very high-tech, fast-paced working environment. The position involves working with a team of 40+ maintenance technicians, providing a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Training will occur on any shift for the first few months, transitioning to the 3rd shift. Shift times are as follows: 1st shift: 6:48 am-3 pm, 2nd shift: 2:48 pm-11 pm, 3rd shift: 10:48 pm-7 am. Shift differentials apply for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with an additional weekend differential.
