Pay: $24-$35 an hour

Shift: 2nd shift (Will have to train on 1st shift)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Tooling Technician where you will play an integral role in preparing, constructing, and maintaining production tooling. This position offers hands-on involvement in various tooling processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in a reputable defense company.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate welding equipment in manual and automatic configurations

+ Weld aerospace case parts and materials to specifications outlined in work instructions

+ Perform blending, smoothing, and deburring of welded surfaces to meet customer requirements

+ Inspect parts before and after welding to ensure conformance with specifications

+ Prepare parts for welding, including cleaning and proper fit-up

+ Maintain accurate machine setup information and complete required documentation

+ Conduct preventive maintenance on welding equipment

+ Maintain internal weld certifications and adhere to quality standards

+ Follow all safety protocols, AS9100 standards, and environmental regulations

Essential Skills

+ Strong mechanical abilities and aptitude.

+ Experience in MIG and TIG welding, especially with stainless steel.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing heavy industrial equipment.

+ Ability to read blueprints and perform assembly tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.74 - $35.00/hr.
