    2nd Shift Opportunity, MUST train on First Shift

     

    Pay: $19/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate who is experienced in operating cherry pickers. The position involves working on a second shift from Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to train on the first shift for one month. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience in order picking/cherry picking and includes cross-training in multiple warehouse functions.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate an order picker to pull materials, packages, and items for shipping and packing.

    + Load and unload trucks, ensuring inventory control and accurate packing for small parcel shipments.

    + Manage all duties related to the shipping and receiving warehouse, including proper completion of paperwork and updating the SAP system.

    + Ensure quality products are delivered to customers by following inspection processes.

    + Record parcel deliveries and distribute them to appropriate departments.

    + Assist with receiving responsibilities and supply raw materials to departments as needed.

    + Maintain general housekeeping practices throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operations.

    + Maintain the physical condition of all equipment and assist other operators in a team environment.

    + Follow all company policies and procedures, work overtime as needed, including weekends.

    + Work in an inside workspace, occasionally exposed to extreme heat and outside conditions while walking into trailers.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of experience in order picking/cherry picking.

    + 3+ years of warehouse experience.

    + Proficient in operating cherry pickers, swing reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and manual pallet jacks.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work orders.

    + Ability to speak, read, and write English.

    + Physical ability to lift at least 70 lbs frequently and perform various physical activities such as stooping, squatting, bending, and climbing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in order selection, packaging, shipping labels, inventory control, and replenishment.

    + Ability to operate material handling equipment.

    + Experience with shipping and receiving processes.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility is a typical warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled, with racking up to 30 feet high. There are multiple loading docks and various workstations throughout the warehouse. The culture is laid-back, with a professional appearance required due to frequent visitor and client visits. Dress code includes steel-toed shoes, safety vests, and appropriate clothing. No cell phones or air pods are allowed on the floor, but a speaker can be used at a reasonable volume. Team size varies by shift, with 25 people on the first shift and 5 to 10 on the second shift. Work hours include breaks and a paid 20-minute lunch, with training conducted on the first shift.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
