Job Title: Facilities Call Center Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Call Center Supervisor to oversee our grave shift operations, from 10pm to 7am, Tuesday through Saturday. This position involves planning, developing, implementing, managing, and coordinating activities and staff in partnership with various business units. You will have the opportunity to make decisions based on experience and data, leveraging a team approach to deliver exceptional customer service. The role requires substantial responsibility, including interviewing and recommending new hires, providing training, evaluating performance, and managing personnel actions. This position is based in Menlo Park, CA, but may involve visiting other medical facilities call center sites around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities
+ Lead daily huddles with site/area supervisors.
+ Manage day-to-day operations of the call center, ensuring prompt and accurate handling of requests.
+ Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure effective use of call center technologies.
+ Manage a team addressing engineering, maintenance, property, and facility management requests.
+ Provide guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.
+ Organize team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
+ Manage hiring, firing, and address performance and disciplinary matters.
+ Manage budget, contracts, and financial audits.
+ Attend and present at all FS&P council meetings.
+ Ensure a patient-centered approach in addressing engineering and facility-related requests.
+ Implement quality assurance programs, including call monitoring.
+ Drive standard work excellence across entities.
+ Act as a liaison between different business units and stakeholders.
+ Provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement in engineering, maintenance, and facility management.
+ Communicate effectively with leadership for cohesive patient support and issue resolution.
+ Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline operations and enhance support quality.
+ Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance efficiency in management processes.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ Five years of progressively responsible work experience required.
+ Understanding of emergency response protocols for police, fire, and medical emergencies.
+ Familiarity with local geography for accurate directions.
+ Knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines in emergency communications.
+ Understanding of emergency services operations and collaboration.
+ Familiarity with radio systems, CAD software, and communication tools.
+ Basic understanding of medical terminology and first aid procedures.
+ Knowledge of crisis management techniques and handling high-stress situations.
+ Active listening and clear communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
+ Computer proficiency, including CAD software and databases.
+ Efficient time management and stress tolerance.
+ Quick decision-making and team collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
+ Proficiency in multiple languages is valuable.
+ Previous experience in a similar setting and role preferred.
+ Valid California Driver's License required upon hire.

Work Environment
This role involves frequent sitting, occasional walking and standing, with some bending, squatting, and hand use. The physical demands include occasional lifting up to 10 lbs, with seldom lifting of heavier weights. The work environment may include seldom walking on uneven ground and exposure to excessive noise. The position requires adaptability to changing circumstances and evolving technologies in emergency response.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $64.60 - $90.94/hr.
