    Pay: $18

     

    Shift; 7am - 4pm

    Job Description

    The General Warehouse Support position involves a variety of tasks including order picking and packing, will call order picking and packing, staging of both ship-out and will call orders, processing cable cuts, lagging reels, palletizing reels, and boxing cable cuts.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure daily cleaning of the warehouse, including sweeping and picking up trash.

    + Maintain, sort, and organize merchandise for easy location in designated areas.

    + Pick and pack all daily orders accurately for customers.

    + Ensure the accuracy and protection of products being packed for customer orders.

    + Handle the picking, packing, and loading/checking out of customer will call orders.

    + Process cable cuts, lagging/boxing of reels/coils, and palletizing reels as per customer requirements.

    + Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.

    + Display a strong work ethic and adhere to all company guidelines and policies.

    + Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be organized and detail-oriented.

    + Adapt to change and handle high-stress situations calmly.

    + Clock in/out accurately and comply with rest and meal break policies.

    + Work overtime as needed based on business requirements.

    + Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift experience is required.

    + Ability to lift 50lbs.

    + Capability to stand for long periods and bend and reach overhead.

    + Work efficiently under deadline pressure with strong organizational skills.

    + Experience using a handheld scanner.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + One year of warehouse experience.

    + Ability to read and write in English and understand basic math skills.

    + Excellent customer service skills are essential.

    + Experience with sit-down forklifts for at least one year.

    + Experience in inventory, picking, packing, general labor, material handling, and pallet jack operations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gold River, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
