Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our facility, offering a 12-hour day shift schedule (7am-7pm) on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Initially, training will take place Monday through Friday from 7am-3pm. This position involves performing routine daily maintenance and preventative maintenance on processing equipment, troubleshooting mechanical failures, facilities upkeep, and adhering to all facility safety programs.

**Pay** : $30-37.00 per hour based off skills

**Schedule** : 12hr rotating schedule 7:00am-7:00pm 2-2-3 rotating days

(Training would occur 7am-3pm M-F until situated)

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine daily maintenance activities for the equipment and facility.

+ Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on processing equipment.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.

+ Carry out necessary repairs to restore equipment to operational status.

+ Identify materials needed, obtain pricing, and complete purchase orders.

+ Interface with operations personnel regarding work orders and contractors.

+ Adhere to all facility safety programs.

+ Assist with other tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Five years of maintenance experience in a processing/manufacturing environment.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret ladder logic and electrical diagrams.

+ Knowledge of 480-volt 3 Phase power and electric motor control troubleshooting.

+ Experience with welding equipment and cutting torch operations.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.

+ Fluent in English with strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills.

+ Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ **High School Diploma or GED.**

+ Experience with conveyors.

+ Familiarity with GMP environment and documentation.

+ Comfortable working on a smaller team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gurnee, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
