    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for either a full-time 3rd shift or part-time weekend position. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting our manufacturing processes and equipment, specifically focusing on injection molding and fully automated PLC-driven assembly machines. The candidate should have strong technical experience and be willing to work during the 3rd shift or weekends to support our production needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and maintain various manufacturing processes and equipment.

    + Support 3rd shift and/or weekend production.

    + Understand and work with injection molding machines and processes.

    + Utilize strong mechanical skills and shop tools.

    + Use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.

    + Perform basic machining using lathes and mills.

    + Possess basic computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    + Apply strong troubleshooting skills.

    + Work with automation principles such as robots, sensors, and vibratory feeders.

    + Have a basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronics troubleshooting.

    + Troubleshoot and conduct emergency repairs on plant infrastructure systems, including air compressors and water chillers.

    + Understand and implement quality control procedures and processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical maintenance experience.

    + Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with injection molding.

    + Experience with PLC systems.

    + Experience in small component manufacturing.

Some machines are fully automated, while others require manual intervention. The facility includes a quality control area and a test shooting range for non-lethal projectiles.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
