Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of operating a variety of machines with minimal training required. You will be responsible for identifying and improving work processes to ensure timely customer delivery, ensuring proper paperwork completion, and addressing any shop floor issues. The role involves setting up and operating both vertical and horizontal CNC machines, monitoring in-process parts, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00AM - 2:00PM
Responsibilities
+ Understand and operate machines such as Johnford, Fadal, Okuma 50 taper, Haas Pallet Pool, Haas VF2, and VF0 with minimal training.
+ Identify and improve work processes to meet on-time customer delivery.
+ Ensure all paperwork is filled out properly.
+ Report and address any shop floor problems with the appropriate department.
+ Setup and operate vertical and horizontal CNC machines.
+ Check and monitor in-process parts for quality.
+ Read and understand blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
+ Ensure all quality standards are met during production.
+ Deburr and blend machined parts.
+ Perform daily maintenance tasks on machines, including checking fluid levels, emptying chips, and cleaning machines.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Complete all necessary paperwork for each job.
Essential Skills
+ 5-10 years of experience in a CNC Machine Shop with all vertical and horizontal mills.
+ Proficiency in reading programs and blueprints/drawings.
+ Experience with CNC Pallet Pullers.
+ Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or related fields.
+ Knowledge of production tools and equipment.
+ Strong leadership qualities.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with setup and operation of vertical and horizontal CNC Mill Machines.
+ Experience with 3, 4, & 5 axis machines.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
