Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team with a focus on operating and managing CNC machinery. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of machining techniques and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize various CNC machines and processes to manufacture products.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
+ Set up and operate 3-axis CNC equipment, advancing to 4 & 5 axis as skill levels increase.
+ Verify product quality using basic inspection equipment.
+ Deburr parts and follow Quality Management Systems (QMS) procedures.
+ Meet established productivity standards and follow job priority instructions.
+ Communicate production delays and problems to the supervisor.
+ Utilize ERP systems to document work movement.
+ Support team goals and maintain 6S and Lean manufacturing best practices.
+ Participate in team and company meetings and serve as a role model for work ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and dress.
+ Mentor program participants and provide on-the-job training as experience advances.
+ Develop tooling and production processes and make manufacturing improvements.
+ Edit CNC programs and equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Basic understanding of machining techniques and inspection techniques.
+ Organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant machining experience depending on level.
+ Ability to provide on-the-job training or mentoring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in 3 & 4 axis machining is required; experience with 5 axis is a plus.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Haas 3 & 4 axis machines.
+ Aptitude for supervisory skills at the lead level.

Work Environment
Work in an aerospace machine shop with both Swing (3:25pm-1:55pm M-Th) and Day (7am-3:30pm M-F) shifts available. Embrace a culture of teamwork and excellence in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
