    Construction Laborer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will be responsible for loading and unloading super sacks of concrete every 30 minutes and helping to operate large 3D printers used in printing out 3D homes to meet production goals. You will primarily operate equipment daily, with occasional responsibilities such as site clean-up, moving materials, and assisting with printing tasks. We value a team-first mentality, so being open to collaboration and a variety of tasks is essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist with loading and unloading building materials

    + Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards

    + Operate hand and power tools as directed

    + Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials

    + Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth

    + Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear at all times

    + Support skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians) as needed

    + Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor

    Essential Skills

    + Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor

    + Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery

    + Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

    + Good communication and interpersonal skills

    + Attention to detail and commitment to safety

    + Time management and reliability

    Qualifications

    + Previous experience in construction or manual labor is a plus

    + Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.) and work in various weather conditions

    + Reliable Transportation must be required

    + OSHA certification or other safety training is an advantage

     

    Work Environment

     

    All work is conducted in an outdoor construction setting. Shift options include day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with varying pay rates. Flexibility in shift assignments and site locations is important, offering a dynamic and engaging work experience. Some work-sites may have a schedule that requires a 5AM-1PM shift, as well as a 1PM-9PM shift. So flexibility in work schedule is a HUGE plus.

    This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
