Job Title: Electro-mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

As an Electro-mechanical Assembly Technician, you will utilize basic hand tools to produce sub-assemblies and final assemblies consisting of fabricated sheet metal, machined components, and electromechanical components. You will work from schematics and manufacturing orders, perform inspections of in-process and incoming materials, and maintain detailed records. Additionally, you will use manual pallet jacks to move materials around.

Responsibilities

+ Use basic hand tools to produce sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

+ Work off of schematics and manufacturing orders.

+ Perform inspections of in-process and incoming materials.

+ Maintain detailed records of production.

+ Utilize manual pallet jacks to move materials.

Essential Skills

+ 1 year of electromechanical assembly experience.

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently.

+ Basic computer literacy.

+ Understanding of blueprints and schematic reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Lean Manufacturing experience is a strong plus.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch. The environment is very clean and well-kept, and you will work closely with a small team of three other people daily.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
