    Job Description:

    At Milwaukee Tool we believe our People and Culture are key to our success. We are looking for a Sr. Test Engineer in NVH and Fatigue with a collaborative mindset, a high level of technical competency, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, while influencing team members through technical guidance and coaching.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Work collaboratively as a team, while remaining agile in a fast-paced environment.

    + Build relationships and align with new product design teams on test development and execution.

    + Consult with engineering teams and recommend design improvements to enhance product performance, reliability, and longevity.

    + Act as a technical resource and provide solutions to engineering.

    + Develop and document test procedures for fatigue, durability, and stress testing

    + Perform methods such as modal, order-analysis, and ODS to analyze designs.

    + Instrument test articles with a variety of sensors, including strain gauges, accelerometers, and load cells, and set up data acquisition systems (DAQ).

    + Conduct field data collection, create vibration profiles, and analyze response data.

    + Record and analyze sound, vibration, and strain data.

    + Perform ED shaker tests for resonance and fatigue testing.

    + Utilize and maintain automated systems for NVH, fatigue, and resonance testing.

    + Correlate physical test results with analytical models, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), to improve predictive simulation capabilities.

    + Analyze test data and reduce complex information into clear and concise reports.

    What TOOLS you bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.

    + 5 years of experience in NVH and Fatigue testing.

    + Solid understanding of fatigue theory, materials science, and cyclic loading.

    + Hands-on experience with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and laboratory testing equipment.

    + Proficiency with Siemens SimCenter and MTS fatigue systems preferred or similar.

    + Experience with shaker tests and vibration test systems.

    + Knowledge of statistical methods and experience with Design of Experiments (DOE).

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
