    Description

    we are partnering with a global investment firm committed to delivering innovative financial solutions. As part of a strategic office relocation in San Francisco, we are seeking a reliable and professional Technical Support Specialist to ensure a smooth transition and continued IT support for our team.

    Position Summary

    We are looking for a self-motivated and presentable IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 technical support during the decommissioning of our current office and setup of the new site. This role requires hands-on experience with workstation setup, troubleshooting, and user support in a fast-paced, professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide on-site Level 1 IT support to end users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

    + Set up and configure workstations, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.

    + Assist with the decommissioning of IT equipment and infrastructure at the current site.

    + Support the setup and deployment of IT infrastructure at the new office location.

    + Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and deployment.

    + Collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate and resolve issues beyond Level 1.

    + Ensure all work is performed with minimal disruption to business operations.

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles.

    + Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.

    + Experience with workstation setup and hardware troubleshooting.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Professional demeanor suitable for a financial services environment.

    + Experience in office moves or site transitions is a plus

    + Must be available to work on-site in San Francisco.

    + May require occasional lifting/moving of IT equipment.

    + Business attire required.

    This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
