• Project Manager

    TEKsystems (Charlotte, NC)


    Description

    The Project Manager needs to have an understanding of Capital Markets

     

    They have to understand products and can work with front office – they will struggle if they don’t know the products

     

    They have to understand full-cycle PM (Initiation through close out)

     

    Status reporting is done with PowerPoint so that is important for them to be able to do

     

    Stakeholder management – know how to facilitate calls and manage calls with higher level team members

     

    Lots of reporting done in excel so they have to know excel, MS office, etc..

    End to End Delivery Leadership

    • Owns full life cycle management – project initiation to close (including scope definition, planning, execution, and monitoring.

    • Anticipates risk, develops mitigation strategies, and ensures timely resolutions

    Stakeholder and Governance Management

    • Engages with stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure alignment and transparency in terms of decision making.

    • Prepares and delivers clear project updates, dashboards, and status reports to variance portfolio governing bodies

    • Manages expectations across cross functional teams and technology

    Financial & Resource Management

    • Develops and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.

     

    Note: Must have advanced presentation and excel skills along with a solid understand of Capital Markets.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
