What You Will Do** **:

The Senior Data Scientist will deliver technical expertise and hands-on support, focusing on advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role emphasizes execution of complex data solutions and contributes to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for data cleaning, transformation, modeling, and automation

+ Implement data science solutions, including statistical modeling and machine learning

+ Support data integration, cleansing, and quality assurance activities

+ Develop dashboards and visualization tools for executive reporting

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements

+ Apply CRISP-DM and Agile Kanban methodologies for iterative delivery

+ Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in data science

+ Contribute to data culture and education initiatives, including playbooks, quick guides, and training sessions

What You Will Need** **:

+ US Citizenship is required

+ Bachelor’s degree required

+ Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in data science roles with demonstrated technical depth

+ Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and model development, including experience with relevant libraries and cloud environments

+ Proficiency in R, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

+ Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and analytics methodologies

+ Ability to collaborate across technical and business audiences

+ Familiarity with federal data standards and compliance frameworks

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills

What Would Be Nice To Have** **:

+ Master’s Degree

+ AI/LLM Certifications

+ Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes

+ Experience supporting data governance, metadata management, and open data initiatives

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
