GS - 09 - $72,017 - $93,620 Responsibilities You will prepare, estimate and develop schedules for efficient storage, movement, ship loading and offloading of ammunition and explosives. You will prepare, review, issue and follow up on detailed job orders and schedules outlining the worksite, work methods and procedures, required work crew and appropriate sequence of operations. You will prepare cost estimates of specific ship operations as required for Navy or private shipping activities. You will originate correspondence concerning estimates and technical information involving all aspects of planning and scheduling. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing storage and distribution plans and detailed planning for conventional ammunition, missile and Tomahawk and components. Experience preparing and reviewing detailed job orders and schedules including planning and revising receipts, storage and issue programs. Experience maintaining manpower requirements and determines daily scheduled operations; and Experience scheduling and maintaining control of all F/R ammunition. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
