Salary range
Min. $77,960-$ 10,360 - (Grade G, 432 points)
Responsibilities
This position is accountable for producing and preparing efficient, economical and reliable bus schedules and work programs for NYCT bus service, for normal course of business and/or borough network redesigns. Analyzes and evaluates traffic and ridership data on bus operations. Assists the Senior Schedule Manager in the preparation of estimates of financial impact of potential budget modifications, service changes and NYCT Labor agreements. May assist the Senior Director in the creation of the Platform Budget and other day-to-day budget functions.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, mathematics, planning or transportation planning, or their equivalent and f ive years progressively responsible related experience of which 2 years must have been in a managerial/supervisory/administrative capacity; or
a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.
Desired Skills
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
Four years of managerial or supervisory experience in Operations Planning or Schedule
Department, and one year of scheduling experience in a large transit system
Selection Method
