    Job Summary

    **Middleware Engineer with strong scripting skills** and having cloud exposure will be an added advantage.

    Responsibilities

    Middleware Engineering:

    + Design, configure, and maintain middleware platforms like WebSphere, Liberty , JBoss, Apache tomcat.

    + **Automate regular tasks using scripting Shell , Jython Python** .

    + Monitor and optimize middleware performance, availability, and scalability.

    + Implement security policies and ensure compliance across middleware components.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve middleware-related issues in production and non-production environments.

    + Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server WAS and related products like WAS Base Liberty IHS Jboss.

    + Strong Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere App server V8.5.x, 9.0.x Liberty 24.x,25.x JBoss 7.4.x, JDK Versions .

    + Manage and automate the deployments using the IBM Urban Code Deploy UCD Maintain UCD components.

    + Troubleshoot the deployment and runtime issues related to WAS & Liberty applications

    + Monitor server & JVM performance and application logs and perform root cause analysis and tuning.

    + Troubleshoot environment and application-related issues and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams.

    + Apply security patches and upgrades as necessary to maintain system security and compliance.

    + Implement the SSL certificate installs in middleware layer and troubleshoot the access or OKTA Authentication issues .

    + Good Experience in Puppet tools to run the patching scripts or Schedule the Restart Jobs .

    + he annual salary for this position is between $79,000 – $92,000 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
