\n Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a Web Developer Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.\x26nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n A current and active TS\/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required to be considered.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

\n

+ Responsible for designing, creating, testing and maintaining web sites and content that enrich and optimize the exchange of information and produce effective communications between the main Customer and its customers. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Interact with team to gather and define requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy their needs. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Coordinate creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Follow a formal design process that includes adhering to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of the web site end product. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Design and develop visually\-pleasing, content rich, user\-friendly interfaces with intuitive \x27navigation. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Deliver comprehensive web site solutions to satisfy customer requirements. Maintain configuration management.<\/span><\/span>

\n The Level 2 Web Developer shall possess the following capabilities:<\/span>

\n

\n

+ Maintain a functioning user\-accessible website.<\/span>

+ Codes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web\-based programming languages.<\/span>

+ Support website planning and deployment.<\/span>

+ Write documentation regarding the website\x27s technical requirements.<\/span>

+ Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades.<\/span>

+ Apply concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high\-performance, innovative web­ based applications.<\/span>

+ Responsible for troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologies.<\/span>

+ Work with management and information technologists to determine specifications.<\/span>

+ Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object\-oriented languages (e.g. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e­ business applications.<\/span>

+ In concert with the software development lead, develop, test, maintain and support high­ performance, innovative web\-based applications.<\/span>

+ Analyze and troubleshoot complex software problems and providing solutions using the latest technologies.<\/span>

+ Work independently on more complex projects.<\/span>

+ Integrate new web products with existing web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the organization\x27s website.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>\n

\n

+ A current and active TS\/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required to be considered.

+ Eight (8) years experience as a WD in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ A Bachelor\x27s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

+ Four (4) years of additional WD experience may be substituted for a bachelor\x27s degree.<\/span><\/span>
