Pay Range: $62 – $69 per hour (based on experience and local/travel status)
*Travelers receive a competitive pay package including stipends.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team in South Bend, WA. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of specialized technical tasks using high-frequency ultrasound waves to produce diagnostic images of internal body structures. This role plays a critical part in assisting physicians with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities.
Responsibilities:
+ Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of organs and tissues.
+ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results.
+ Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.
+ Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
+ Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Certification from an accredited ultrasound school.
+ One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
