_Primary Patient Population:_

+ Congestive Heart Failure

+ Arrhythmias

+ Post Procedural Care (Catheterization/Ablation/ICD/PPM)

_Primary skills utilized/learned:_

+ EKG interpretation

+ IV Medication titration

+ Critical thinking, delegating, time management

_Personnel RN will work with_ _:_

+ Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Telemetry Technicians, PT, OT

_Number of beds on unit:_

+ 28 beds

Required Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.

+ Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.

+ Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position).

+ 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
