**Salary Range:** $60,000 to $134,000
Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. THE DATA CENTER TEAM
We build mission-critical data centers throughout the U.S. to ensure crucial information accessed by millions of people is always available and secure. For decades, CEI is a leading provider of design, installation and commissioning of 20M+ square feet of data center space totaling over 4 GW of electrical systems—including infrastructure built to support AI-driven technologies.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Estimator will communicate and partner with the project management team and general contractors by delivering accurate, high-quality estimates on time. The Estimator is responsible for completing project-specific estimates based on written and/or oral discretion from project managers. As an Estimator, you will help create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build plans and specs work. The ideal candidate will maintain and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices), and assemblies, as well as maintaining the quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors. Opportunities to train other Estimators, Project Managers, and other team members may also come up as necessary. This position will report to the Division Preconstruction Manager.
**Knowledge:** A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
**Job Complexity:** Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
**Supervision:** Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
_Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying._
**Education:** High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Electrical Engineering preferred.
**Licensure/Certifications:** None required.
**Experience:** Five (5) years of electrical estimating experience in the commercial/industrial/high tech industry. Three (3) or more years of experience with a design/build contractor, including Data Centers preferred.
