Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a hands-on Director of Human Resources leader who will partner with the broader business to develop growth strategies and operating plans. As the Director of Human Resources you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive human capital strategy and operating plan that supports a culture of teamwork, customer service, innovation and integrity while aligning with the organization’s global growth objectives. Supporting a workforce of approximately 300 employees, this role serves as a frontline leader for their direct team, trusted advisor to executive leadership and a key partner in driving initiatives that advance organizational performance, strengthen talent pipelines, and foster an exceptional employee experience. The Director will lead an HR team of 3–4 professionals and play a critical role in shaping a scalable HR infrastructure to support the company’s continued expansion as a private equity–backed global organization. This individual must drive operational execution while ensuring strong HR operations and compliance across all levels of the business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Human Resources Operations
+ Oversee and continuously improve the full set of core HR functions, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across:
+ Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:Lead strategies to attract, select, and retain top talent across all levels, from hourly to executive roles.
+ Onboarding & Integration:Ensure new employees experience a seamless, engaging introduction to the company and culture.
+ Training & Development:Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and implement programs that support career growth and skill advancement.
+ Employee Relations:Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution of concerns.
+ HR Compliance:Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, maintaining up-to-date policies and practices.
+ HRIS & Data Management:Manage HR systems and reporting to support data-driven decisions and process efficiency.
+ Health, Safety & Wellbeing:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote employee wellness and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
+ Policy Development:Review, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures that promote consistency and transparency.
+ Operating Plan:Maintain an operating plan tying ongoing activities, initiatives and projects to both the company and department strategy.
+ Establish and monitor HR metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and inform continuous improvement initiatives.
Leadership & Collaboration
+ Build strong partnerships with leaders across departments, and global regions as required, to align HR activities and support with business priorities.
+ Serve as an engaged and hands on player-coach who promotes open communication and teamwork across all levels.
+ Lead by example, modeling company values and fostering a positive, high-performing work environment.
+ Responsible for conforming with the company’s quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior.
Strategic Leadership & Culture
+ Develop and execute a growth mindset people strategy aligned with the company’s mission, growth objectives, and evolving business needs.
+ Champion a welcoming culture of collaboration, and high performance that supports engagement and innovation.
+ Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, providing insights on organization design, workforce planning, and talent optimization.
+ Drive change management initiatives to strengthen employee trust, leadership alignment, and organizational agility.
Employee Engagement, Development & Retention
+ Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, strengthen communication, and foster a sense of belonging and purpose.
+ Oversee leadership development, coaching, and mentoring programs to build strong pipelines of talent.
+ Manage performance management and succession planning processes to identify high-potential employees and prepare future leaders.
Compensation, Rewards & Recognition
+ Oversee development and administration of competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans that attract, motivate, and retain talent in a dynamic market.
+ Lead the evolution of employee recognition programs that reinforce company values and celebrate contributions.
+ Partner with leadership and Finance to align total rewards strategies with business and performance objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
+ Personnel needs identification, hiring and termination recommendations, leadership, coaching/training, performance management, task assignment, policy dissemination, disciplinary action/documentation to personnel files, job description updates, etc.
+ Establish department goals, plan and achieve department activities & objectives, analyze variances-initiate corrective actions, problem resolution, propose/support/implement new & improved approaches/methods, etc.
Mentoring Responsibilities
+ Guide / Coach key department staff to promote development for the purpose of individual’s personal growth, improved decision making and potential succession planning identification in support of company objectives and group goals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership or director-level role.
+ Proven track record of developing and executing people strategies that support organizational growth and transformation.
+ Experience managing HR operations in a manufacturing, life sciences, or CDMO environment.
+ Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop HR professionals and cross-functional teams.
+ Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION
+ Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
+ Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
+ Experience supporting global operations or multi-site organizations.
+ Prior experience in a regulated industry (FDA, GMP, ISO) strongly preferred.
+ Expertise in leveraging HRIS, data analytics, and digital tools to drive decision-making and efficiency.
+ Spanish speaking
Salary Range:$150,000 to $160,000 Annually
