    Murrey’s Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring a **Rear-Load Garbage Truck Driver** who is ready to take on one of the most physically demanding and essential jobs in our community.     _Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays_

     

    _Pay Range: $35.00–$35.50/hour_

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Operate a rear-load garbage truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes.

    + Manually load and unload waste and recyclables — **lifting, pushing, and pulling objects over 100 pounds** throughout the day.

    + Navigate tight streets, alleys, and industrial zones in all weather conditions.

    + Use hydraulic controls to lift and empty containers at disposal sites.

    + Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.

    + Interact professionally with customers while working independently and staying on schedule.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid **Class B CDL** with air brake endorsement (Class A not required).

    + Minimum **1 year of commercial driving experience** .

    + Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Basic mechanical knowledge for truck inspections.

    + Must be able to **lift, push, and pull objects over 100 pounds** consistently.
