• Programmer/Support Developer (Remote/Puerto Rico)

    Job Description

    An aerospace manufacturing employer is looking for a Programmer/Support Developer to join their team remotely based in Puerto Rico. This position is open due to an increased need in support of the company's Manufacturing web application portfolio. The Programmer/Support Developer will be responsible for primarily providing tier 1 and tier 2 support for React.js web applications within this portfolio. This role will involve hands on programming in Reactjs and Python. This person will receive tickets through either ServiceNow or Jira when users have issues with the application and they will be responsible for triaging and troubleshooting the issue to understand the issue and figure out what is exactly happening, and why. They will need to run SQL queries to pull data and ensure existing SQL queries are doing what they are intended to do. Depending on the issue, this resource will perform the technical remedy, or if needed will escalate. The Programmer/Support Developer should be well versed in SQL as they may need to run SQL queries to pull data from the application and troubleshoot issues. Strong communication skills and organizational skills are a must have for this role.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    2-5 years of experience with Reactjs programming

     

    2-5 years of experience with Python programming

     

    Strong expertise with SQL

     

    Strong web application troubleshooting expertise

     

    Previously worked with Jira and/or ServiceNow ticketing systems

     

    Experience working in a serverless cloud environment
