    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Application Specialist to provide hands-on support, administration, and development for its Salesforce platform. This mid-level hybrid role serves as the primary point of contact for internal users, offering live support, troubleshooting, and training, while also contributing to ongoing system development and maintenance.

     

    The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who enjoys working directly with end users to improve processes and system performance. This role requires both strong communication skills and technical proficiency in Salesforce development, integrations, and configuration.

    Compensation:

    $60-70/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

    Experience:

    • 3+ years of Salesforce development or administration experience in a user-facing environment

    • Experience working in government, legal, or public sector environments preferred

    Certifications:

    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)

    • Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components

    • Familiarity with declarative tools such as Flow, OmniStudio, Reports, and Dashboards

    • Experience managing CI/CD processes (Copado, Salesforce DX, or Git)

    • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration concepts

    • Experience with ServiceNow (ticketing) and Jira (issue tracking) a plus

    Competencies:

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills for working with diverse internal users

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

     

    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across technical and business teams · Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or Government Cloud

     

    Basic familiarity with front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
