    Job Description

    A School District client of Insight Global is seeking a skilled and experience Computer Hardware Repair Technician to join their team. In this role, the technician will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues on Chromebook and Windows devices, ensuring timely and effective solutions. The position involves performing hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades, as well as conducting routine maintenance to improve performance and extend the life of equipment. Responsibilities include replacing defective components such as memory modules, hard drives, motherboards, peripherals, and power supplies, while ensuring proper installation and configuration of all parts to restore full functionality. The technician will maintain accurate records of all repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities, and will generate service desk reports detailing hardware issues, repair trends, and inventory status for analysis. Additionally, the role requires performing quality assurance checks on repaired devices to confirm they meet established performance standards and specifications.

     

    We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized and collaborative leader with excellent problem solving skills. This is a 3 month contract role, with possibility of extension based on workload. This is a fully on-site role, local to Thornton, CO. This position can pay between $20-22/hour with medical benefits and 401k options offered on contract. If interested, please apply!

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 2-3+ years of hardware repair experience, specifically with Chromebooks and windows computers

     

    - Experience with all aspects of Chromebook repairs including mother boards or system boards, display or LCD panels, batteries, hard drives or SSDs, and keyboards

     

    - Experience conducting quality assurance tests on repaired hardware and devices - Vendor certification- especially for Dell or HP
