    **UW MEDICINE IT SERVICES** has an outstanding job opportunity for a **Senior Output Management System Analyst** .

    WORK SCHEDULE

    + 100% FTE – 40 hours per week

    + Day Shift – UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 08:00 – 17:00 (PST), Monday-Friday

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    **UW Medicine IT Services (ITS)** is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Serve as a technical lead on projects encompassing output management, including printing, faxing, and document workflows

    + Lead stakeholder meetings to document, understand, and drive changes in output management workflows

    + Own and/or provide input on licensing for products related to output management

    + Responsible for the security design of complex systems and applications

    + Manage and recommend changes to technical standards

    + Build and/or contribute to roadmaps for document output

    + Act as the subject matter expert on all items related to output management

    + Provide analysis and metrics for output management workflows

    + Design, implement, and monitor output solutions for Epic and clinical systems

    + Troubleshoot and resolve print issues; collaborate with vendors as needed

    + Maintain vendor relationships for output management at UW Medicine

    + Evaluate and improve output processes, ensuring secure and accurate document routing

    + Assist with new site deployments, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning

    + Partner with IT and operational teams to deliver reliable print services

    + Support and maintain LRS VPSX, MFPsecure, printers, queues, and secure output workflows

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Math, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience

    + 4+ years of experience must include:

    + 4+ years in a healthcare or clinical IT environment

    + 4+ years administering systems in an enterprise setting

    + 4+ supporting an Output Management system in a healthcare environment

    + Familiarity with clinical printing workflows (e.g., labels, wristbands, MARs, discharge instructions, requisitions)

    + Working knowledge of Epic print architecture, including device records, print groups, and report routing

    + Familiarity with configuring and maintaining multi-function devices, including managing tray settings, paper types, and overall layout optimization

    + Effective communication and collaboration skills across clinical and technical teams
