Inventory Control Specialist

Position: Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management across all assigned sites. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with corporate requirements, resolving inventory issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity of inventory processes and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and coordination.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Inventory Specialist, are to:

+ Be responsible for monthly inventory reporting across all brands for assigned sites;

+ Implement and maintain processes and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate requirements;

+ Resolve inventory issues and highlight potential issues or opportunities to management when appropriate;

+ Ensure that KPI metrics are maintained and reported monthly;

+ Conduct analysis to address and solve inventory issues;

+ Work across various teams to coordinate and complete annual site audits or cycle counts;

+ Engage with customer service operations to assist in resolving customer delivery product discrepancies;

+ Utilize WITS and SAP systems effectively.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ An associate degree with at least 2 years of related work experience, or a non-degree with at least 5 years of related work experience;

+ Proficiency with SAP and the ability to learn various inventory management and warehouse management systems;

+ Knowledge of IT systems and tools, including Microsoft Office Applications and Salesforce.
