    Description

    American Endovascular is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistants/ Patient Service Coordinator. Phlebotomy certification is required.

    Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

    + Support physicians and nurses in daily operations.

    + Serve as a scribe to document patient reports.

    + Welcome and guide patients through their visits.

    + Record vital signs and collect lab samples.

    + Gather and update medical and medication history.

    + Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is cleaned.

    + Maintain a sterile and organized pre- and post-op environment.

    + Assist patients with scheduling follow-up appointments.

    + Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, staff, and management.

    + Uphold professionalism in all patient and healthcare interactions.

    + Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations for office visits and ultrasounds.

    + Handle incoming calls and schedule patient referrals.

    + Perform additional tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    High School Graduate

     

    Medical Assistant School Graduate

     

    Registered Medical Assistant issued by the state of NY.

     

    Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support
